CIDER International School joyfully celebrated World Water Day on 22nd March 2025, with enthusiastic participation from students across Pre-Primary to Grade 5. The entire campus was a sea of blue as students came dressed in blue attire, symbolizing the vital importance of water and our shared responsibility to conserve this precious resource.

The day began with a special morning assembly, where students delivered an informative and engaging presentation emphasizing the significance of water in our daily lives. They highlighted the alarming issue of global water scarcity and encouraged everyone to adopt simple, everyday actions to make a meaningful difference.

In classrooms, students viewed thoughtful PowerPoint presentations filled with impactful facts, visuals, and stories that brought the global water crisis to life. These sessions served as a source of inspiration, motivating our young learners to become responsible “water warriors.”

A variety of age-appropriate activities were organized throughout the day to reinforce the theme:

Pre-Primary students enjoyed water-themed coloring sheets, storytelling sessions, and fun, hands-on water play activities.

Grades 1 to 3 engaged in slogan writing, crafts incorporating water-saving messages, and interactive group discussions.

Grades 4 and 5 took part in poster-making, water conservation quizzes, and shared their innovative ideas on how to save water at home and school.

The celebration concluded with a heartfelt pledge by all students to conserve water in their daily lives. The event was not only educational and thought-provoking but also deeply memorable, leaving a lasting impression on the importance of valuing and protecting one of Earth’s most essential resources—water.
