Economics and Bangladesh studies organised a workshop on Learning from Case study. It was held on 3rd December’2019 Tuesday at LMR hall in CIDER International School. Business students from grade VIII to Grade XII participated in the workshop. The workshop was conducted by Mohammad Ziaul Alam, Head of Department of Economics and Bangladesh studies. Section coordinator and Activity Coordinator of Cambridge Senior Section, Head of Bangla department and other faculty members of Economics and Bangladesh Studies were present in the workshop. The workshop had two parts. In first part it was discussed about the case study system and its benefit for the students to develop their competitive skills as it enhances nine skills of a person. In second part it was discussed how it is applied and help to solve a problem. As case study is compulsory question for the business students of class VIII to XII, it will be very helpful for the students to do well in the examination. Overall it was a very good initiative taken by Economics and Bangladesh studies department.
