Thousands have lived without love, not one without water.” – W. H. Auden.

This year World water day was focused on the theme of “Leveraging water for peace”. World water day was celebrated on 24th March, 2024, at CIDER International School, NC Pre Primary. Students wore blue attire and water symbolic head crown on that day. Play group students watered on the plants and made flower and floated the flower on the water. Nursery kids played a game that was pouring the water from one bowl to another bowl. They also did some craft activities with colors. KG students watered to the plants and did craft activities with papers. All the classes showed documentary videos to the students and described them about the importance of water in our life. Overall, it was a great day for the students.

The theme of World Water Day 2024 is ‘Water for Peace’.

“World Water Day 2024” was celebrated with great enthusiasm and commitment at CIDER International School on 24th March 2024. The event aimed to raise awareness about the importance of water conservation, promote sustainable water management practices, and empower students to become agents of change in their communities.

The day began by highlighting the significance of World Water Day and the global water crisis by showing a PPT and related videos. To encourage creativity and critical thinking, some activities (art, free handwriting) on the theme of water conservation were organized for students. Participants showcased their talent and passion for environmental conservation through their artwork and written compositions.

By fostering a deeper understanding of water-related issues and promoting sustainable practices, the event catalyzed positive change within the school and the wider community. Moving forward, CIDER International School remains committed to instilling a sense of responsibility toward water stewardship among its students, preparing them to be future leaders in environmental conservation.
