Story Telling – The Seeds of Children’s Creativity
Story Telling is an effective educational tool that features strongly across all cultures. In our school Story Telling Session is contemplated for parents – kids involvement where parents were reading stories for the tiny tots and they involve themselves through listening in small groups. This session gives the opportunity to the tiny tots to listen to their own parents. Parents gathered the idea of students’ story reading qualities and environment at school.
On the 30th of January 2024, Story Telling Session was arranged for the first time in the NC Pre Primary students. It was implemented in a highly organised manner.
Story Telling Session started with all the NC pre-primary students together. It was held at LMR hall. It was very smooth and engaging for half an hour. Two parents from KG-B were invited to the programme and they narrated two nice stories. Two motivational cards were given to the parents for their participation. The parents were very happy to become a part of this enthusiastic event. On the other side the children enjoyed the event to the fullest.
This Story Telling Session enhanced students’ active listening skills and stimulated their speaking skills as well.
