The NC pre-primary section of CIDER International School buzzed with excitement and curiosity during the recent ‘Show and Tell’ event—an engaging activity aimed at nurturing speaking and presentation skills in young learners.
Students arrived with a wide array of fascinating objects—from toys and books to handmade crafts and everyday items. Each child had the chance to proudly showcase their chosen item and speak a few lines about it. What made the event even more special was that some children confidently included inspiring social messages in their talks.
The activity was a wonderful platform for our little learners to build their vocabulary, express their thoughts, and overcome stage fear. The joy and enthusiasm on their faces said it all! Motivational cards were awarded to those who explained their items particularly well, encouraging them to continue exploring and expressing.
The event was a delightful reminder of how early exposure to public speaking can lay the foundation for strong communication skills—and a lifelong love for learning.
