“A child’s mind is like a garden; teachers and parents help it bloom.”
The PTM for Grades (1-5) of the NC Primary section was successfully held on 12th March, 2025. The meeting provided an excellent platform for teachers and parents to engage in meaningful discussions regarding the overall growth and development of the students, both academically and in extracurricular activities (ECA).
The meeting began with teachers sharing the Unit 1 assessment report cards and answer scripts of every subjects with the parents. These report cards highlighted the students’ academic performance, strengths and areas where improvement is needed. Teachers provided detailed feedback on each student’s progress, ensuring that parents were well-informed about their child’s achievements and challenges.
This time parents got a PTM feedback form through a link shared in the Google Classroom and What’s App group where they will share their experiences and thoughts regarding the current session. It was shown and explained in the respective classrooms by the class teachers.
During the interactive discussions, teachers and parents exchanged valuable insights about the students’ learning experiences, behaviours and participation in ECA. Parents appreciated the efforts of the teachers in nurturing their children’s talents and addressing their individual needs. Teachers, in return, emphasized the importance of parental support in reinforcing learning at home and encouraging students to participate actively in school activities.
The Academic Coordinator, Miss Amrin Husain met some of the parents and students in her office for their improvement in studies and motivated them wisely. The Grade Level Coordinators (GLC) and the Assistant Academic Coordinator, Miss Fahmida Haider played a vital role in supervising the meeting. They visited all the classrooms to ensure smooth coordination and to address any concerns raised by any parents or teachers. Their presence helped to maintain a structured and productive environment throughout the event.
The meeting concluded with a focus on collaborative efforts between parents and teachers to support the students’ holistic development. Teachers outlined specific strategies for improvement, such as personalized learning plans, regular practice and enhanced the communication between school and home.
