Teachers’ training refers to the professional development programs and workshops designed to enhance educators’ skills, knowledge, and classroom practices. On 2nd May, 2024 National Curriculum Senior Section organised an In-house Teachers’ Training session for familiarizing educators with the new curriculum, teaching methods and systems led by Ms. Mukti Chowdhury, Section Head, NCS. It was a session of 2 hours. She put emphasis on the four experiential learning cycles like concrete experience, reflective observation, abstract conceptualisation and active experientation of new curriculum.

In this training session some teachers conducted simulation classes focusing the learning cycles. This approach helped other teachers grasp practical insights into class conduct strategies. The training session proved to be fruitful, enlightening all teachers about class management, monitoring systems, and mentoring approaches. Experienced teachers shared basic ideas to enrich the training with their wisdom. The session enhanced teachers’ understanding of the new curriculum and refined their teaching techniques by ensuring a more cohesive and effective educational environment. It will be helpful for the teachers to improve teaching effectiveness, student engagement and overall learning outcomes.
