Phonics isn’t just letters and sounds—it’s the beginning of a lifelong love for reading.
CIDER International School hosted a lively Phonics Workshop for the Pre-Primary Play, Nursery, and KG sections, bringing students and their parents together for a meaningful learning experience on Wednesday, 16th April 2025. The workshop introduced the key phonics concepts through some playful and engaging classroom activities that helped children develop early reading skills.
Teachers guided the sessions with creativity and warmth, using letter recognition tasks, visual aids and storytelling session to make the learning process enjoyable and effective. Parents observed and took part in the activities, gained valuable insights into how phonics was taught in the early years.
The highlight of the event was a fun session where students and parents shared laughter and learning through interactive group works and simple challenges, leaving everyone with big smiles and a sense of accomplishment.
The workshop was a delightful experience that built both skills and stronger parent-child-school connections.
Learning sounds is like finding magic in every word!
