The Phonics Workshop of NC Primary (Play-Grade 2) of CIDER International School held on 13/3/24 aimed to provide parents with insights into the phonics teaching approach utilized at our school and offer practical strategies to support their children’s literacy development at home.

The Phonics Workshop offered parents insights into our school’s phonics teaching approach and practical strategies for home support. We covered phonics fundamentals, our systematic synthetic phonics approach, and ways to reinforce learning at home. Parents appreciated the tips and engaged in a productive Q&A session. Feedback was positive, with suggestions for more interactive elements in future workshops. Overall, the workshop fostered collaboration between schools and parents to enhance children’s literacy skills. We’re committed to ongoing support for our students’ reading and writing development.
