Parents’ Orientation is an essential platform for any educational institution to engage with parents, provide critical information, and establish a collaborative relationship. It helps the parents to understand the academic, social, and developmental journey their children will undertake and aligns their expectations with the institution’s goal.

CIDER International School, National Curriculum, Senior section organized Parents’ Orientation-2025 on 18th of January, 2025 in school L. M. R. Hall. The orientation was typically started with a warm welcome by the Executive Director of CIDER International School, Mr. G.C. Tripathy followed by the introductions of the Section Coordinator, GLCs, Class teachers, and other teaching staff.

The focal points of the program were

  • Curriculum update and teaching methodology.
  • Co-curricular and extracurricular opportunities
  • Assessment policies and support system
  • Communication channels between the school and the parents
  • The importance of a balanced routine for students.

As CIS is committed to cultivating an atmosphere where every child feels valued and encouraged to explore their full potential, we always try to create a nurturing and empowering environment that helps our children grow into well-rounded individuals. In this regard, the Section Coordinator and the dedicated team of educators ensured the parents that the students of CIDER are not only academically competent but also socially responsible, emotionally resilient, and equipped for the challenges of tomorrow.

Besides these, some special guidelines for the parents to support their children’s learning, manage stress, encourage and build a positive home environment, etc. are provided. Parents are notified clearly about our all facilities including multimedia classrooms, laboratories, libraries, and other facilities as well.

At the end of the orientation, there was a parents’ segment where parents got the opportunity to share their concerns and received answers from the Executive Director and Section Coordinator. The program ended by ensuring that all the parents are clarified about their concerns and gained a deeper understanding of the educational environment, fostering confidence in the institution’s capabilities.
