“A mother is like a tree that gives shade even to the woodcutter.”

On 12th May 2025, CIDER International School joyfully celebrated Mother’s Day with the students of NC Primary during 1st period by the respective Class Teachers. The celebration began with a heartfelt PowerPoint presentation and a related video that highlighted the love, care and sacrifices of mothers. These visual presentations helped students understand the importance of expressing gratitude towards their mothers.

As part of the activity, students enthusiastically created beautiful greeting cards filled with colourful drawings, heartfelt messages and thoughtful words dedicated to their mothers. Some of the students of Grade 5 also pasted pictures of their mothers on the cards, adding a personal and emotional touch.

The event aimed to instill in young learners the value of love, appreciation and family bonding. The celebration was both meaningful and joyful, reflecting the deep affection students hold for their mothers. CIDER International School continues to encourage emotional development through such creative and value-based activities.
