Moral education has always been a perennial aim of education. The function of schools, it was believed that not only to make students smart but also to make them good. Moral education aims to teach good behavior and values to help children develop a sense of politeness and lawfulness.

Moral Education Week was started on November 3rd 2024, organized by the NC Primary to promote ethical values, empathy, and character development among students. Each day of this week was featured a special assembly focused on honesty, respect, and cooperation, complemented by inspirational speeches and skits. Students participated in discussions and expressed their understanding of moral values through displaying posters and PowerPoint presentations.

Moral education is a set of procedures, designed to raise participants’ fairness, sense of justice, concern for the needs and rights of others, using moral dilemmas to promote more mature moral decisions.

This impactful week highlighted the importance of ethical behaviour and personal integrity, contributing to a more respectful and responsible school community. These lessons will resonate the students as they continue their growth.

Moral education is about developing respect for oneself and others.
