In the shimmering light of February 11th, 2024, Investiture Ceremony of NC Senior Section unfolded our school’s auditorium with an aura of grandeur and glory, marking the dawn of a new era of leadership and responsibility for the students. The ceremony commenced with the soul-stirring beginning of National Anthem, symbolizing unity and pride. Following this, the chief guest and guest of honour were accorded warm felicitations in the traditional CIDERian manner, acknowledging their presence and support.

Mr. Abu Sayeed, Head of the Department of English of NC Senior Section, took the podium and delivered an eloquent opening speech that resonated with the essence of leadership. Ms. Neeti Tripathi, Vice-Principal of Cider International School, extended a heartfelt welcome emphasizing the importance of nurturing leadership qualities among the students.

Soon after, there was a video presentation of Primary Section showcasing the democratic process of electing student representatives, underscoring the democratic values instilled within the school community.

The stage then was transformed into a platform of recognition and honour as badge holders from both the Primary and Senior Sections were called forth. Adorned with sashes, badges, and bouquets, they stood tall symbolizing their newfound roles and responsibilities. With the signing of the responsibility papers, they pledged to uphold the values of integrity and service, ready to embark on their leadership journey. But the ceremony didn’t end there.

It was the time for oath-taking ceremony involving all the prefects. Each prefect solemnly pledged their commitment to uphold the values of integrity, responsibility, and service, marking the formal initiation of their leadership journey.

Once oath-taking ceremony concluded, the newly appointed Head Boy of Primary Section and Head Girl of Senior Section stepped forward to deliver poignant speeches, expressing their gratitude and outlining their vision for the upcoming academic year. Then, parents from each section shared heartfelt messages, expressing their pride and offering words of encouragement to the newly appointed student leaders.

 After this, the Chief Guest and the Guest of Honour addressed the audience, commending the students for their achievements and encouraged them to embrace their roles with diligence and dedication.

 A photo session captured the memorable moments of the ceremony, providing a lasting memento for all participants and attendees. The ceremony culminated with a sense of pride and anticipation as the newly appointed student leaders embarked on their journey of service and leadership.
