The Investiture Ceremony of CIDER International School for the academic year 2023-24 was held on the 21st of August 2023 at the Multi Purpose Hall in the school premise. The chief guest for the event was the Deputy Police Commissioner of Port Division, Patenga, Ms. Shakila Sultana.
The school believes leaders are not born but are made by their experiences in life. So, to inculcate the leadership qualities in the students and to give them a feel of functioning of the administrative body.
A welcome speech was delivered by the principal of CIDER Mr. GC Tripathi in which he inspired and encouraged the elected leaders to be dutiful and responsible.
The march by all the prefects was a spectacular event which set the mood for the event.
In his address, the Chief Guest Ms. Shakila Sultana appreciated the efforts by the school for providing opportunities to the students to take part in activities like these. She also congratulated the newly appointed school prefecture board for their preparedness to take responsibilities. She asked them to use these opportunities and balance them well with academics to excel in both. Finally, she wished well to all the members of the prefectural board.
The head boy Muhammad Nusayr Bin Rahman shared his experiences and conveyed his gratitude to the teachers and management in his speech.
The program ended with a vote of thanks by the vice principal of the school Ms. Neeti Tripathi.
Overall, the program was a grand one and everybody present there was very happy to be a part of it.
