On December 12, 2024, CIDER International School held its exciting Global Perspectives Day in the school auditorium. This special event, aligned with the Cambridge curriculum, aimed to engage students and families in important discussions about health, the environment, and community responsibilities. Students from different grades showcased their learning through performances, presentations, and interactive activities.
The day began with the Grade 1 students, who performed a lively dance focused on health and well-being. Their performance encouraged everyone to think about maintaining a balanced routine and the importance of staying active. Following them, the Grade 2 students impressed the audience with a creative mime that illustrated how goods and people are transported efficiently. Their act highlighted the significance of transportation in connecting communities.
Grade 3 students took the stage next, presenting a fun and informative show about sports and recreation. They explained how participating in sports can improve both physical and mental health by reducing stress. Their energy and enthusiasm inspired many in the audience to consider being more active. The Grade 4 students then sang a heartfelt kindness song about obeying the law, emphasizing the need for trust and cooperation between the police and the community.
The final performance came from the Grade 5 students, who delivered a powerful drama dance about deforestation. Their presentation raised awareness about environmental issues and encouraged everyone to take care of our planet.
Throughout the day, parents and visitors enjoyed various stalls and activities that related to the themes presented by the students. These interactive experiences allowed families to engage with the topics in a fun and meaningful way.
The event concluded with a special awards ceremony, where Principal Ms. Neeti Tripathi recognized outstanding performances from each grade. Students were awarded 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for their hard work and creativity.
