The full form of YES is Young Entrepreneur Society. This Young Entrepreneur Society (YES) is a stepping block for students interested in Entrepreneurship. YES is an indefinite focus on initiative. It helps to develop competitiveness in entrepreneurial management and promotes entrepreneurial spirit among business students.
The business department of CIDER International School (National Curriculum) Senior Section celebrated Business Week and YES Program from 11 September to 22 September, 2019. The Week started with a field trip on 15 September, 2019. The students visited Southeast Bank Limited and Stock Exchange Limited. Throughout the whole week all the students worked hard to make projects and decorate the boards. 19 September was the Board Inauguration day and our honorable Principal Sir and Vice Principal Ma’am inaugurated all the boards. 22 September, 2019 was the celebration day of YES (Young entrepreneur society) Program which was held in the LMR Hall. A PowerPoint presentation was prepared by Fayha Munir on the work of the whole Business Week and topic-based ‘Evolution of Currency’ was shown during the function. On that day, the dignitaries who graced the program were- Mohammed Rashedul Amin (Executive Vice President and Head of Branch, Southeast Bank Limited), Sanjay Das (Head of Relationship unit, Corporate Banking, Eastern Bank Limited) and Shabyashachi Chowdhury (Relationship Manager, Corporate Banking, Eastern Bank Limited). Another PowerPoint presentation was shown on Bangladesh Economic Prospects. The program ended with the question-answer session where the students asked questions to the guests and the guests answered the questions.
