More than just a practice of physical exercises, Yoga is coming together in individual self with a universal spirit. National Curriculum Senior Section celebrated International Yoga Day for the second time in school’s LMR Hall. This time it was organized in collaboration with India High Commission Office. The program was dignified with the presence of His Excellency Dr. Rajeev Ranjan, Assistant High Commissioner, India. He inaugurated the program with his enlightening speech which gave the students a new outlook about yoga.

After that, our honourable Principal Sir taught the students few breathing exercises to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Following that, few energetic and vibrant students from class 6 to 10 demonstrated various yoga asanas like Brikshasana, Gomukhasana, Garudasana , Bhujangasana, Vajrasana and Sabasana. Section co-ordinators, all the teachers, students and guests also joined them in doing these asanas. Before the end of the program there was a fun yoga performed by dynamic and enthusiastic students of Class 9.
