7th March is the historic day of the people of Bangladesh as on this day in 1971 the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman delivered a speech at Race Course Maidan(Present Suharwardy Udyan) in the capital city of Dhaka to call upon the people for the potential war of independence.
CIDER International School, National Curriculum Senior Section, observed the historic 7th March commemorating the landmark speech of the Father of the Nation’s declaration of the country’s independence in 1971. Ayshman Paul, a student of VI-A, played the role of Bangabandhu delivering his speech live. Students participated in question answer session.
The landmark fiery speech of Bangabandhu inspired the Bengalees to prepare for the War of Liberation.
