CIDER CC Primary School recently organised a Road Safety Day to raise awareness about the importance of road safety among students. The event aimed to educate young learners about key traffic rules and the importance of being safe while on the roads. The day was packed with informative sessions that helped the students understand road safety in a fun and engaging way.
The teachers led interactive sessions in their respective classrooms, using PowerPoint presentations, educational videos, and discussions. These materials helped explain various traffic rules, the importance of pedestrian safety, and how to stay alert while travelling. The students were encouraged to ask questions and participate in discussions, making the session more engaging and informative.
To wrap up the day, students were given the opportunity to showcase their creativity by making posters on road safety, either individually or in groups. These posters not only allowed students to express their understanding of the topic but also served as a reminder of the key lessons learned throughout the day. Through this activity, CIDER CC Primary effectively reinforced the importance of road safety while fostering teamwork and creativity among the students.
