The Bangladesh Studies Seminar at CIDER International School offers a dynamic platform for students to explore, reflect, and celebrate the rich heritage and promising future of Bangladesh. This year’s Bangladesh Studies Quiz Competition and Presentation 2024, held on October 7th, was organized by the Department of Bangladesh Studies (DBS) and captivated participants and attendees alike.

The event commenced with a warm welcome from our Honourable Executive Director and Principal, Mr. Ganesh Chandra Tripathi. Distinguished judges Mr. Ziaul Alam, Head of the Department of Business (Cambridge Curriculum), and Mr. MD Tayeb Hossain, Senior Teacher in the Department of Chemistry, contributed their insights and expertise to this inspiring program.

This year’s event was thoughtfully divided into two segments:

Segment 1: Students from Grades VI to VIII competed in a lively quiz competition, showcasing their knowledge of Bangladesh’s history, culture, and current affairs.
Segment 2: Grade IX students delivered insightful slide presentations on various topics, underscoring their understanding of Bangladesh’s role on the world stage.
The program brought out the enthusiasm, depth of research, and critical thinking of our young participants, as they celebrated the spirit of Bangladesh. The event was honored by the presence of heads of departments, grade-level coordinators, the activity coordinator, section coordinator, and our esteemed principal.

At CIDER International School, we are proud to foster a deep and enduring appreciation for our nation’s past, present, and future through engaging events like these, empowering the next generation of informed and inspired citizens.
