Art and Craft Day has become an integral part of our school activity. This activity provides students with a creative outlet to explore their artistic talent and develop their craft skills. Cambridge Pre Primary of CIDER International school organized Art and Craft Day on 27 July 2023 where Grade – Play to One students took part.

The program was inaugurated by our Vice-principal Ms. Neeti Tripathi along with the Academic Coordinator Alex Sir. The program was designed to encourage creativity and exploration allowing students to express themselves freely. Teachers demonstrated different techniques and provided hands-on guidance to students ensuring they understand well and can apply them to their art pieces. But of course, the final products were created by the students on that day which were the reflection of their creativity, curiosity, and enthusiasm.

There were different themes for different classes like Play worked on Sea Animal. Students made different sea animals using a one-time plate, glass, cork sheet, and poster color. They also made a small lake using a cork sheet where animals were floating on the water.

The nursery drew a giant picture using colorful chalk in the departure yard. KG students were divided into groups. They were given specific objects to create like a penguin, sheep, cone ice cream, octopus, windmill, etc. by using chart paper, tissue roll, and paper cup. Grade One worked on recycling things. They made robots, animals, and people by using empty mobile boxes, water bottles, and tissue rolls. Students enjoyed a lot bringing their creativity. Successfully it was done which inspired students to pursue their passion for arts and crafts and develop their skills further.
