An Award Ceremony is a formal event in which trophies are given to honor the achievers in a particular field. This award seeks to recognize works of distinction and is given for distinguished and exceptional achievements in all fields of activities or disciplines.
To acknowledge our youngsters’ achievements in academics as well as in extra-curricular activities for the academic year 2019, CIDER International School (National Curriculum – senior section) organized ‘Award Ceremony-2019’ on 12th of December in School Auditorium. The program was graced at the presence of Miss Benazir B. Shroff, Director of Operation and Administration, Imperial Hospital, Ltd. as the chief guest. After the felicitation of the chief guest with bouquet and shawl in CIDER’s tradition, our honorable Principal delivered his valuable speech and welcomed all students as well as the parents to our most awaited program. There were two events; Corus song and dance participated by the students which were dedicated to our intellectual martyrs and our freedom fighters as CIDER always holds the glory of victory of our long nine months Liberation war and tries to impart the true spirit of patriotism to our young generation.
After upholding the huge activities of our students through a PPT entitled NCS journey of 2019, the most awaited segment, awarding our shining stars started.
Students from class V-X were awarded for their best performances in academics as well as in different types of school activities. Student of the year Award is given in two categories. Rumaiya Kabir, student of class VI (NC) has been awarded in junior category and Rafsan Jarif has been awarded in senior category. A+ achievers in PSC, JSC-2018, and SSC 2019 were also awarded for their achievements. Besides these, two of our shining stars named Rumaiya Kabir and Tahmid Al Mahmud Efaz achieved scholarship award. After the Award ceremony, the chief guest spoke highly about CIDER and its students as she was very pleased by seeing our students’ activities and the facilities provided by the school while delivering her valuable speech. The program was ended with the vote of thanks given by school Academic Coordinator of NC Senior section.
