March 17 is a memorable day in the history of the Bengali nation. On this day in 1920, the greatest Bangali of all time, the architect of sovereign and independent Bangladesh, Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, was born at Tungipara village, Gopalganj in undivided India.

CIDER International School, National Curriculum celebrated the 104th Birth Anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman with due fervour. To celebrate the day, a cultural programme was organized by NCS. The programme was commenced with the National Anthem of Bangladesh.

Oishika Barua, a student of VIII recited a poem named ‘7th March, 1971’. Life documentary of the greatest leader was presented. After that, a student of VI-A, Ayushman Paul, delivered Bangangbandhu’s historic 7th March Speech live. Ramisa Anjum Ahmed from Class IX shared her own feeling about Bangabandhu through a speech. Our respected Section Coordinator, Miss Mukti Chowdhury, delivered her valuable speech. In her speech, she emphasized us on knowing more about the great leader, Bangabandhu, and paying respect towards him. She also delivered an important message to us, emphasizing that our first and foremost duty is to be Bangalee before anything else.
